The Group
At 24, Simon Hue, the great-grandson of two millers, one Basque and the other Breton, opened his first bakery in Amiens in 2016.
A business school graduate with experience in the food trade, he combines entrepreneurial flair with a passion for fine craftsmanship, surrounding himself with a team who share that passion.
Ten years on, the Simon & Co Group brings together more than 80 employees across four divisions, all guided by a common thread: sharing know-how through high standards.
Over the years, the Group has also invested in real estate, to the point of owning 100% of the properties it operates: a solid asset base that supports its independence and its long-term vision.
Since 2023, it has also been investing in startups that are shaping tomorrow's innovations, from healthcare to space.
A clear ambition: to keep growing without giving up any of the values on which it was built.

26 October: our first bakery-patisserie opens on rue Jean Catelas in Amiens. The Group is born.
16 November: we launch Daniel, an artisan sandwich shop.
2 November: our second bakery opens on rue Jules Barni in Amiens.
April: we set up a food distribution subsidiary, a wholesaler specialising in raw ingredients for artisans, the hospitality sector and food manufacturers.
18 March: our third bakery opens on rue du Général Leclerc in Rivery.
25 September: our fourth bakery opens on route de Rouen in Saleux.
